We are currently seeking a Senior Energy Engineering Manager for our Jacksonville, FL office to be fully responsible for leading the planning and execution efforts for all aspects of our energy services group tasked with delivering energy efficiency, energy management, and green buildings applications to our clients. Responsibilities range from marketing through the scoping and proposal stage of services, to directing and managing the resultant projects to completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing energy efficiency projects, conducting energy engineering analyses, and writing reports, developing/analyzing energy conservation measures for proposals, lead others in the energy service support groups in providing energy services, be capable of leading energy consulting meetings for design and construction teams, participate in the development and implementation of LEED projects, have the ability to work as a third party to traditional in-house A/E design teams to assist in materials and systems selection, verify energy performance of the various proposed and designed systems and provide a knowledge of building and energy codes as well as energy and commissioning standards for each project of the Aviation Program and oversee support staff. This position will include responsibility for maintaining overall budget and profitability targets

Qualifications:
The successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to fulfill the duties and responsibilities of the position. The preferred candidate qualifications include:
- Bachelor of Science in BSME or BSEE with ten (10) years minimum energy consulting and analysis experience.
- CEM and LEED accreditations are required.
- ASHRAE certification as a Commissioning Process Management Professional (CPMP) or the ability to obtain such certification immediately.
- Knowledge of the design and operation of mechanical and electrical systems for aviation, commercial, institutional and light industrial facilities as they relate to energy conservation for such facilities.
- Working knowledge of building automation and controls systems for HVAC, fire alarm/life safety systems, lighting and lighting controls building envelopes.
- Ability to meet with clients to co-manage projects, present results and develop new scopes of work.
- Experience in developing new business opportunities.
- Knowledge of building and energy codes as well as energy and commissioning standards.
- Experience with energy audits of existing buildings.
- Experience with the commissioning of new and existing facilities.
- Experience with energy modeling of new construction and existing building renovations.
- Experience in performing energy analysis of multiple system options and presenting recommendations in both a written and oral format.
- Excellent Working knowledge of DOE2, Trane Trace, Carrier HAP or Energy Plus simulation software.
- Professional Registration required with expectation of ability to register in additional states.
