Job Description

OHL-USA, Inc. seeks Project Engineer in Lone Pine, CA to trk contractual chg & rpt chgs to Proj Engr or Proj Mgr for pymt. Asst in the preprtn/maint of proj scheds, qty trkg, & lbrr cost rpts. Asst in dvlp of proj status reports & profit projtn. Rsrch & resolve drwg interpretations, probs, & errors. Rvw/redline drwgs for contractual chgs. Vrfy that all completed wrk complies with applbl codes, drwg & specs. Maint a good knowledge of the contract specns, docs & the scope of wrk, including subcontracts & prchs orders. May prov subcontract coordination. May prov suprvsns to Field Engrs, & tech dircn to crafts, &/or Superintendents assigned to area of wrk to insure wrk is cmpltd in proper sequence. Perform required design for temp proj works. (ie, formwork, scaffolding, lifting beams, sppt of excavation, barge loading diagrams, critical lift plans etc.). Maint high regard for Judlau/OHL Code of Conduct. Perform addtnl asgmts per spvs's direction. Supv Superintendents, Proj Mgrs, Foremen, & Field Engineers. Requirements: Requires a BS in Engineering or a related field. Must have any amount of experience or knowledge which can be obtained through work experience, internships, &/or course credit with the following: cost reporting; contract specifications, interpretations, & chg; & reading, interpreting, & designing drwgs.
